This 5 Days Uganda Family Trip with African Big 5 Safari takes you to Uganda’s largest National park with the strongest waterfalls in the World, Murchison Falls National Park. The Park is located in North Western part of Uganda covering areas like Masindi, Buliisa, Kiryandongo, Nwoya, Amuru, and Pakwach. It is known for its diverse wildlife and it’s also known as the powerful waterfalls in the world. With the breathtaking view of the country’s side, you will witness the Big Five mammal species like Elephants, Leopards, Lions, Buffaloes and Rhinos. You will also get an opportunity to view the Nile crocodiles, Hippos, Waterbucks etc while on a game drive and boat cruise you will observe animals on the banks of the river. Two game drives on the open savannah are included. 
In addition, you will experience a Rhino Tracking Safari in the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Day 1: Pickup from Entebbe International Airport or your Hotel – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa for Rhino tracking
Day 1 of the 5 Days Uganda Family Trip with African Big 5 Safari will start will a pick up from Entebbe International Airport or your Hotel by our professional driver guide who will brief you about the 5-days Family Trip with African Big 5 Safari. He will then transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for on-foot rhino tracking. Following the tracking, you’ll drive to Masindi for lunch. After lunch, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. In the park, you’ll have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephants. Upon arrival, you will check-in for Dinner and Overnight Stay.
Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park – Early Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Nile
Prepare for an early start today, as the early morning hours are when wildlife is most active, the sun is not too harsh, and temperatures are cooler. After an early breakfast, embark on a game drive to explore the northern part of the park. This is the prime time for spotting African wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, various antelope species, and a plethora of tropical birds.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Nile River to Murchison Falls. As you cruise, keep an eye out for crocodiles, numerous hippos, buffaloes, waterfowl, monkeys, and other thirsty wildlife that are drawn to the Nile’s waters. Following the boat trip, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Chobe Safari Lodge
After an early morning breakfast, you will set off for a sunrise game drive on the savannah. During the game drive, you can see lions, elephants, Jackson’s hartebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, and many more animal species. You will return to the lodge and check out after we depart for Chobe Safari Lodge, have lunch at Wankwar Gate, and have dinner and overnight stay at Chobe Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Chobe Safari Lodge – Nature Walk and Leisure Time
You will start the day with a hot breakfast then after you will go on walk along the shores of the Nile River with chances of seeing hippos, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, and various species of birds like Shoebill stalk, Martial Eagle, the African Fish Eagle, Papyrus Gonolek etc. Later, we will return to the lodge and enjoy some leisure time. In the evening, we will have sunset drinks while watching hippos in the Nile River and hearing the unique sounds as they open their mouth. Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport or your Lodge
After a delicious breakfast, we will depart with unforgettable memories of Murchison Falls National Park. Expect en route stopovers in Mbarara town for lunch and the Uganda Equator line mark in Kayabwe for some memorable photos (if you didn’t stop on the first day) and maybe buying some art pieces of interest. Proceed with the journey arriving late afternoon/evening for drop off at the airport or your Hotel.
