3 Days Tsavo East and Taita Hill Saltlick Safari
Welcome to 3 Days Tsavo East and Taita Hill Salt Lick Safari. The Wide plains with a view of the forest-covered Taita Hills, Savannah with scrub lands and rock formations, Huge Tusked Elephants which comes to quench their thirst at the Water hall located in front of the Lodge. The theater of the wilderness in Tsavo East, safari feeling in the camp – this is what awaits you on this safari! Let us take you closer to the nature in style.
Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East
We will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drive to Tsavo through Mombasa Nairobi highway. On the way we make a short stop at Kilimanjaro Restaurant for short calls and drive to the Tsavo Gate. Theater of the Wild! You will be welcomed by the Red earth of Tsavo just as you enter the Gate. The nature trails, bush Savannah and the first wild animals’ sightings shape the impression of real Africa.
We will make our first game drive through the park in search of the wild animals. Tsavo homes thousands of wildlife, and every minute something great might popup on the way. We arrive at the lodge in time for lunch, checking in and spend your midday rest during the hottest time of the day.
In the evening there is a second extended game drive through the park until the onset of dusk, you will explore the beauty of nature and its wildlife. Filled with the exciting impressions, we return for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 2: Tsavo East to Taita
On this day 2 of 3 Days Tsavo East and Taita Hill we get up early take a cup of coffee / tea, and sets on the early morning stalk at daybreak, the best time of the day to see the big cats! We roam the park and later Return for full rich breakfast.
Pack our luggage and check out. Make our last game drive in Tsavo as we head to the famous Taita Hill Sanctuary.
Saltlick Safari Lodge is one of the magnificent and most photographed lodge in the world, with its awesome architecture; lodge built on Stilts.
We arrive in time for lunch for Checking in and you will reach and fortify yourself with lunch and have time to look around and relax.
In the afternoon we start the big game drive through the area and explore nature with the animal inhabitants. Until Sunset we spend the night at Saltlick Lodge. Optionally we can opt to do the Night Game drive which makes this park unique at extra cost. A nice evening awaits us at Dinner and watching the animals approach the watering holes.
Day 3: Taita to Mombasa or Diani
On this fine day, we wake up early morning grab a cup of coffee and head on an early stalk before returning for full breakfast.
We pack our bags and checkout. Once again we go on out and roam the area in search of the wild animals for the last time and we make our way back to Diani/Mombasa.
We take a break for lunch at Kilimanjaro Restaurant, after which we continue to the coast to your hotel / cottage and this marks the end of our trip.
